Die-Metric Tool Inc. began in 1987 specializing in CNC Production Machining of precision components for a wide range of applications, utilizing the latest CNC Turning and Milling equipment.

Dexter Lawson Manufacturing (Cambridge, Ontario, Canada) contracted Die-Metric Tool Inc. in 1988 to produce “Hollow Paper Drills”. In the manufacturing of these drill bits we developed a process of “Cold Forging” the Internal Taper. The benefits of using this method as opposed to “Reaming “ are as follows:

•  Mirror Surface Finish

As of August 2003 Die-Metric Tool Inc. began selling directly to the end-user.  We will continue to manufacture these high quality bits as we have since 1988.
